CATS ON DRUGS depicts a variety of cats consuming crystal in a varety of ways. Growing up in Sonora, CA, I was subject to the many animal still life paintings shown in galleries and boutique shops around town, and for me there was something missing. As people continued to disregard the growing meth and pharmaseudical epidemic tainting the areas youth it was important for me to depict domesticated animals consuming the drugs that people's sons and daughters were smoking, snorting and injecting.
